Om een krappe arbeidsmarkt te lokken naar een anoniem bedrijventerrein heeft @home een standaard bedrijfsruimte in het westelijk havengebied in amsterdam voorzien van een spectaculair interieur. De lichtkap die op de bovenste verdieping voor daglicht in het midden van het gebouw zorgde werd verdiept tot de begane grond en over alle verdiepingen werd een bol gehangen die het kloppend hart van de organistatie vormt. In eerste instantie werd gedacht aan een technisch hart: alle datakabels moesten in het rode hart samenkomen. na realisatie van het hart werd besloten de plannen om te gooien: een relaxruimte voor het personeel, waarin goed "gegamed" kan worden is de uiteindelijke bestemming van deze bijzondere ruimte.

To attract proffesionals to an univiting industrial part of the harbour district in Amsterdam, @home decided what was needed was a spectacular interior. The glass roof providing light in the heart of the building was complemented with a three floor high atrium. In this atrium a giant sphere symbolizes the pounding heart of the organization. At first the idea was to make this heart a technical heart: to make all the technical ducts meet in this part of the building. After realization the quality of the space was so high, that is was decided to change the plans and make it a room for the workers to play videogames.
