De detaillering van het project zorgt ervoor dat het, zonder dat de vormgeving historiserend wordt, vrijwel naadloos opgaat in de historische gevelwand. De verhouding van de ramen, diep terugliggend in de gevel, met houten kozijnen die zijn weggedetailleerd achter het metselwerk, is gelijk aan die van de oudere buurpanden. deze verhoudingen zijn mogelijk door de keuze voor naar buiten draaiende ramen, zodat de doorvalbeveiliging binnen kan zitten.
the detailing of this project make it fit perfectly in its historical surroundings without loosing its contemporary feel. The proportions of the windows,with deep-lying window frames of wood, with aluminium panels, are equal to those in the surrounding buildings. This was further enhanced by choosing panels that open out, and adding a french balcony fence inside the building, so there would be no horizontal lines added to the composition of the street facade.
